Summit Consulting, one of the top digital forensics and IS security services provider has partnered with EC Council and Appin Security Group to conduct a 5-days training in Ethical Hacking leading to the award of Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) qualification. This event is in response to the increasing incidents of fraud cases notably in the financial and telecommunication sectors. To effectively protect your systems from hackers, you need to first think like a hacker.

Where: Summit Consulting Ltd ICT Training Centre in Bugolobi (you will receive proper directions upon registration).

When: 10th - 14th October 2012

Time: Starting at 8:00 am sharp daily.

Option 2: Due to popular request, we have introduced evening and weekend training schedule as follows:

Evening classes of 3 hours duration starts at 6:10 pm to 9:10 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday every week. Classes start on 17th August 2012. We have to obtain your training materials at least 2 weeks in advance. You must pay in time to ensure that you do not miss. To register, call 0414231136. All classes are presented by a qualified Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) face to face and are very interactive.

You will practice your skills in class on your own machine to ensure you get all the practical skills and add value to your organisation by saving it over US $25,000 that would be paid to an external professional consultant to do the job. Speaking about the training, Mustapha Mugisa, CFE said “this training is in response to increased incidents of fraud in organizations across the board. We need senior management to appreciate the role of IT security. Auditors and IT security professionals too need skills to proactively prevent such frauds in time.” He also said “recently, one of the big telecom companies disclosed in the press that they lost about Ugx. 9 billion to insider fraud. This is a big exposure not only for the particular telecom, but for the integrity of our financial and telecom systems.”
