To all the naysayers and doomsday alarmists about AI, keep this in mind: Technology creates more opportunities. It only threatens the “status-quo-holistic,” people who stop learning when they attain specific skills.

Technology transforms economies and societies because it literally forces many people to up skill and re skill to stay relevant.

It’s the ability of new tech to handle tasks efficiently (deliver the highest output with minimal input) and effectively (achieve the desired outputs with minimal or no errors) that creates significant disruption, as many people wake up to learn new skills and do things that the new tech cannot yet do. That is what causes real economic and social growth, a new wave that forces many people to wake up and learn new skills that tech cannot yet do!

Don’t be fixated. AI is built on large data models. The more live the data, the more human-like it gets. One year down the road, AI continues to learn. The people who are losing jobs are those suffering from the “a frog in water being heated slowly” syndrome.
Societies exist on a system of law and order. AI-powered robotics cannot be held accountable for fatal mistakes they make. It’s their human masters that are held accountable instead! As long as you still need a passport to travel, AI will always have a master! What is near true is that if there was to be a global martial law, AI powered robots would raise to decimate so many humans but still remain under the control of very few humans! The solution is all governments empowering their young people to learn robotics and AI programming to create capabilities of robot fighters and defenders.

It’s still cheaper to make a human than a robot. The pharmaceutical industry invests a lot in AI using money from treating humans! That ecosystem will always thrive.
Go learn how to use AI tools to automate your tasks so that you are more productive. That is the only thing AI asks of you: learn to use me [AI] well.
